A few months ago I attended an Enfield Southgate members meeting with Owen Jones, the Independent columnist and author of Chavs: The demonization of the working class.

Owen spoke to us about his book and how the Labour movement can organise against the Coalition’s austerity cuts. The meeting was very well attended by members from across the whole constituency and a lively debate was had by all.
